I was born in Farmington, New Mexico in 1986. I spent my childhood in Farmington before my family moved to Las Vegas when I was 12 years old. I stayed in Las Vegas until the fall of 2005 when I left to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I served in Guatemala for two years and returned to Las Vegas in 2007.
I attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I received my Bachelors of Art in Studio Art in 2013. Shortly after, my wife and I moved to Eugene, Oregon where we currently reside.
I don't have any one thing that influences what I paint and draw, only that it's usually something that I connect with on some level. Often times I paint the human figure and portraits. I believe in the nobility of the human spirit, and I strive to represent the beauty of that nobility.
